A couple of weeks ago, I alerted you to how much political action committee (PAC) and special interest money would be flowing into Michigan's race for Governor.
Last week, with the release of campaign finance reports to the Michigan Secretary of State, our predictions sadly became a reality. Since this campaign started last year, special interests have given over $1 million dollars to my Republican opponents. Take a look at the breakdown below:
I am the only candidate who has taken a stand against special interests by not accepting their money - not one dollar. My one and only interest is what's best for the citizens of Michigan and our state's long-term success. Not the interests of lobbyists and the special interest groups they work for. - Rick Snyder
Conservative Perspective notes that the four other candidates for the republican nomination for the governors seat are also career politicians as opposed to Snyder hence the link to lobbyists and the special interest groups.
Have we not seen enough of special interests?
