- What I Learnt From My Shopping Trip
For the past few years, I've been looking at Times Square as a mall only for lala people, but after yesterday's trip, I changed my whole view on Times Square.
Times Square is an awesome place! Well, only the first 2 or 3 floors. LOL! The upper floor are forbidden floors for me. Those are where lala people are. Urgh...lala people.
Firstly, there are A LOT of shops selling sunglasses, and they have Dior and Gucci! And they are on sale!
Then, I went to this watch shop, and they had the Gucci I wanted, and I managed to bargain for 10% discount! But sadly I didn't buy it, yet. LOL!
And one more thing I love about Times Square...
JEWELRIES! The shop above is ZAM GEMS which is right at the corner of the mall's ground floor. They sell LOTS of loose coloured-stones! =D And they give a lot of discounts~ Now I know where to get coloured-gemstones at awesome prices. And they sell natural ones, not treated ones.
WAH CHAN! This is not the picture of the Wah Chan store in Times Square, but the store there is the main branch in Malaysia! If you want to buy loose diamonds, I'd say go to Times Square. There were um... HUNDREDS of loose diamonds there! Including a 4-carat diamond. I personally saw it with my own naked eyes. After Times Suare, I went to Sungei Wang.
It was, um... bullshit. Boring. Went off within 15 minutes lol.
Next stop, Lot 10. I discovered a local jeweller, Amee Philips. Her jewelries are very nice, nicely done workmanship, and affordable too. The shop is also very neat and bright. Worth checking out.
I didn't walk much around Lot 10, after that I left to KLCC without stopping at any store in Pavilion because I wanna save it for another day.
Okay, what I learnt in KLCC. Very interesting day.
Jimmy Choo. These Jimmy Choo sneakers, I can't slowly save up and buy them. No one bought any of them yet. LOL!
Gucci. People who own Gucci aren't necessarily rich. If you see guys or girls with Gucci messenger bags, they aren't really that rich. These GG Monogram bags comes around less than RM3000. According to my experience and observation, nowadays a lot of people carry Gucci messenger bags or those huge handbag or the square looking shape (Boston or Speedy for LV). Because these come in affordable, and now I can say that it's not hard to save up RM3000.So yeah, the next time you see a messenger Gucci, do not be fooled by their outward appearance.
Miu Miu, is, nice. Very nice. The bag above is just a pure yellow beauty. Big enough for guys to carry it. But the problem is, the price tag is huge too. Approximately RM9000 for the one above. Just added it to my long-term wishlist lol.
HERMES IS EXPENSIVE. And lol, please learn how to pronounce your word properly and don't be nervous while pronouncing your word, like me, "Excuse me, do you have any ye-ath, lee-ah, LEATHER bracelet?" LOL omG it was so embarassing.Back to the stuffs. The bracelets above, are around RM1800. Mad expensive. But mad awesome! I only saw the one which looks like the one at the first 2 top row. And the belts below, you can choose the buckle and a separate belt colour. It's quite think though, thin for a RM2400 or RM2600 belt. *faints* The thick ones are around RM4280. Mad expensive.
AND YES if you see someone with an Hermes, either he/she knows a lot about fashion, or that person is one rich person.
Chanel! *squeals* I love my visit to Chanel this time. I had to say I spent the longest time in Chanel this visit. Anyway, see the bracelets above? I only had the chance to see the bottom 2, and both FITS ME PERFECTLY *grins* and both costs at a stunning RM1560. It's very thin actually. And what I learnt and am happy to learn at Chanel was...
GUYS CAN ACTUALLY WORK THE CLASSIC FLAP! =D Not all guys, but guys like me can. I mean like, slim skinny guys like me can work the bag, or maybe well built men, but there's no way an elderly man with huge tummy can work this well. No one can stop him, but it'll look just horrible. I'll tell you how guys can work it next time ok?Oh by the way, Classic Flaps are mad expensive. The Maxi (largest) size is about RM14,000. But I've gotta say this bag is worth RM14,000. If you have the cash, I'd say it's a good investment to invest in as soon as possible because Chanel increases their price every year by 5-15%. So hurry up!
One last thing, sales assistants. I tell you, almost every sales assistant was so nice to me!- ZAM GEMS sales assistant was just so friendly. He's from Sri Lanka :) So are the gems LOL!
- Wah Chan, the guy was very friendly too.
- Sunglass shop at Times Square, very sociable person. He gives good opinions.
- Amee Philips sales assistant was VERY VERY friendly and sociable. =D
- Jimmy Choo. The lady is so friendly. *grabs a clutch* "That clutch is made of ----glitter fabric, so if you touch it your hands will have the glitter." *sees hands, "Oh". LOL! Both of us laughed lolol.
- Gucci, the lady was, friendly. =)
- Miu Miu, the guy was just so friendly. =D
- Chanel, Yati is one of the nicest sales assistant I met that day! So kind of her to take all the bags and shoe for me to try one. =)
- Hermes at Pavilion (oh yeah I couldn't tahan, I had to drop by the shop LOL! But it was the only shop I dropped by at Pavilion.). The sales assistant was very kind.
- Versace, the sales assistant is very very kind after so many times I entered and walked out empty handed lol.
- Burberry, kind guy.
- Dior, very sociable lady.
Goodnight.
