We are at this very moment in time at several real decision's as to Americas very future; Do we want law makers, law breakers or representatives in congress? I do not know about you folks but I choose the latter as so spelled out in our Constitution. We have enough if not too many laws. God knows there are plenty of law breakers in the halls of congress. At the same time we are desperately in need of representatives in the majority who actually listen to us and put a stop to this insanity and the narcissist in the White House.
Do we as a people want to go the route of Greece? I think any reasonable American would say no. We are as a country closer to that then some may want to believe if we do elect responsible representatives who will put a stop to this insane borrowing/spending and instead demand and implement austerity.
Do you need more laws and regulations restricting your freedom's, restricting your job opportunities or those of your children? This is what Obamacare is doing right now and will do more of if it is not repealed, there is not one person running with a (D) after their name that will repeal this garbage.
Do you want more law-breakers in congress? Speaker Pelosi promised to "drain the swamp" and has failed miserably to do so, so you as an American must do so with your vote. (Note to CA and NV start with removing Pelosi and Reid respectively)
Do you want more taxation? We are in a recession and times are tough for all, can you really afford to be taxed even more while finding it hard to stay afloat right now? If not stopped, the highest tax increase in American history is going to hit all of us January 1, 2011, there will not be one American that is not affected by this.
Do you want real representation? This idea of 'leaders' is ridiculous in congress, we elect them to represent us and the current crop has failed as evident with stimulus and health care prominently rejected by the populous yet pushed through despite those rejections. We the People are the leaders and our supposed representatives are not listening, in the private sector we fire them for insubordination - no difference here.
Here's a couple of novel idea's; Research, do those whom you wish to support actually support your values? Question, question all, and if not liking the answer,,you get the idea. Think, no politician can deliver your wildest dreams, ever. You are an American, yes you have a vote but beyond that is your own responsibility to work towards those dreams period.
Please by all means do the research. Please do not vote for "Well I know his/her name"! Being a congressional representative is not a birthright nor was it ever intended to be a career.
Be a part of history. Be the sleeping giant that has awoken. Vote, vote in a new majority of representatives that listen to you and heed your will. Vote for those who believe in and live by the Constitution as it is written.
This November 2, 2010 election is most certainly about the very future of these United States! Every vote counts, let your voice be heard 6 days from now telling those who run our current government and the world at large - NO SOCIALISM HERE!
