Something Different; Two of my Favorite (albeit violent) Movie Shooting Scenes

During my recent small sabbatical from work I happened upon watching a film I rather enjoy, 'Public Enemies' starring Johnny Depp. If you are unaware, the film is about the notorious American bank robber John Dillinger and his downfall during the Great Depression era.

The following is a shoot-out clip from the film which I found to be excellent in it's execution and sound quality and even historical accuracy as this particular shoot-out portrayed in this actually did take place in Wisconsin,,,,,

Now this got me to thinking on another movie with yet another shoot-out scene set in modern day, 'Heat' starring both Al Pacino and Robert DeNiro (and many more) that I thought the very same about this film in regards to quality in the production of it.

Now I wish I could have embedded the clip here on CP but that option was disabled by the owners of it so I am left leaving a link to it which I give as the description to the clip itself below. It runs about 10 minutes and really heats-up at the 3:30 mark but as those that know the film I am sure will attest, it is well worth the time to view it in it's entirety.

"Scene from Movie Heat (1995) directed by Michael Mann; This is considered to be the best action scene on the history of American cinema...enjoy."

It is rare that I take interest in what Hollywood churns out at least on the pages of CP other than for what might be related to a particular topic such as background. That stated and the gunfights aside, I found both of these films well worth my time to view and not only once.
