When I started this little blog a year ago today [Redistribution to our Peril] I knew really nothing about blogging at all, where it would go or lead to or that is was possible to interact with so many incredible, intelligent and articulate people from across the U.S. and the world such as the wonderful followers of CP!Like most of you I was getting very, to put it mildly, frustrated with the Nation's direction but I began my online venting of conservative thought on local and national news websites. This, I hoped would serve two purposes actually; (1) Putting out ideas that some might never see otherwise and (2) Getting under the skin of socialist's by achieving number one.
Well I soon found that form of online commenting too restraining in that there is so much more information out there and yes, my opinion as to that information that it could not be expressed in the form or length I personally desired.
That experience however was fruitful in that I was interacting online with a couple of local Michigan conservatives who suggested and urged me on to create my own blog, one of those people is Chris over at Bonsai from the Right.
I wish to thank each and every one of you for following this blog, reading/viewing it and the commenting! In doing so you have enriched my life in the knowing that I am definitely not alone in my frustration.
To those that have blog sites of their own (see the left side column of this blog) I thank you for sharing your thoughts and lives as well. You have taught me much, learning is after all a lifelong process and I appreciate each and everyone of you!
Together we can, as Conservatives take back our Nation and turn away from failed socialistic policies and those of our friends abroad can achieve the same in their respective Nation's. Together we can and will win, that is win a world of people controlling their governments, not a world of government controlling people, the latter being commonly known as slavery.
To my family, friend's, co-worker's and compatriot's as of this post we are 9 short day's away from voting to start a return of the power of government to where it Constitutionally belongs - THE PEOPLE - stay the course, strengthen your intensity and trust in God for in this endeavor we shall prevail!
