Tokyosnowlet: In Honor of Veteran's Day and Remeberance Day (U.K. & Canada)

In Honor of Veteran's Day and Remeberance Day (U.K. & Canada)

Editors Note: For those who have been readers of CP you may recognize the following from 11/11/09 albeit with some editing. I am choosing to make this Conserative Perspectives annual Veterans & Rememberance Day post as it comes from my heart and that my friends can never be changed. May God Bless our Veterans and those of our Allies all those currently serving.

Friends, readers and fellow Patriots, today is set aside for those who have fought for and defended what freedoms we Americans and others around the globe still yet enjoy to this day.

On this day or any other day for that matter, I cannot forget nor ever will my father may he R.I.P., as he served our Nation as a Master Sergeant, 1st Infantry Division of the United States Army-commonly known as the Big Red One. I am sure many Americans have similar stories about themselves, relatives and friends and my wish is to honor them all with this post.

Besides his status as a veteran, the other reason I mention my Dad is this: He taught me so much in all subjects but most of all instilled in me a love for our Nation and for those who most assuredly put Country First, our Nations best - The United States Armed Forces, be it not for them who would we be?

My Dad was born Canadian (not a soon to be former MI Gov.Granholm type Canadian) , he emigrated to the U.S., joined the U.S. Army and then was naturalized as an American citizen. He understood freedom and opportunity when he saw it and rightly so with Canada living under a particular Monarchy (yes,our Vet's defeated that same monarchy, no offense intended to my U.K. friends) longer than it's neighbor to the South and with liberties slowly eroding. But he knew better by becoming a U.S. Soldier and citizen and sought to immerse himself in it by first defending his new Nation. Side issue here, but talk about real legal immigration!

On this day,I could not think of a better way to commemorate it by highlighting it with each Branch of the Military doing the Honor's themselves as they so impressively do with such dedication, precision and accuracy that it is truly awesome! I am sure most people have seen some military drill team in person or video before, but I am also pretty sure that most have not seen all five American Military Drill Teams in one setting before.

This blog takes different forms in it's short history but I strive to stay true to its title and my own commitment to furthering conservative thought. With this post on this day in Honor of our veteran's, I pray that Veteran's Day and those it honors is fully appreciated by all Americans, but fear that if it not for conservative, God-fearing thought based on our Republics Constitutional founding, we would see this dedicated event come to an end as the left have no respect for our military as is evident in their policies, actions or inaction's for that matter. As an example of changing the name and the meaning of a 'day' by liberals I submit the following; 9-11 was recently changed to a "day of service" from "Never Forget"? So our Military under the command of B. Hussein Obama is being put in harms way for fighting for "service" and NOT because we are at war with enemies that attacked us and will do so again given the chance ?

As always comment's are more than welcome if you so choose and please share your story. But on this day I chose to let the Military do the 'commenting' first in a fashion that I believe is more than appropriate and a fitting tribute to our U.S. Veteran's.

I am a firm supporter of our Military and again I hope you find this small collection as enjoyable as I do. An absolute, awesome display of precision!

May God Bless the United States Military past and present and a huge THANK YOU for your service !

{ Note; There is no particular order of video placement as to preference, all unique and extremely skillful and also encourage as time permits, to watch all of them ! }

To our Allies in the United Kingdom, Canada and the entire Commonwealth I Honour your Veterans on Remembrance Day as well for obvious reasons and the not so obvious being my Paternal Grandfather and Great Uncle served in the Royal Canadian Army Service Corp. at the pleasure of King George V and under the Union Jack.

Again, an absolute, awesome display of precision with the added bonus of magnificent sound!
