Well not quite. However, I was reading an article titled 'Iranian military elite voices criticism of Ahmadinejad' which is focused on the Iranian Revolutionary Guard questioning the leadership of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
For those interested in internal Iranian affairs it is a very interesting read but what grabbed my attention and the reason behind this post was the following quote in the Guards' monthly magazine 'Payam-e Enghelab (Message of the Revolution):
"Does being on top justify whatever action the government thinks is right, disregarding the law?"
It would seem as though the Iranian Revolutionary Guard is a big fan of Sarah Palin as well or the millions of us other Tea Party members being we have been asking that exact question for a minimum of two years now of our government.
I suppose elitism is no stranger even in Persian politics.
