- From Tokyo to Kuala Lumpur
By now most of you are either talking about visiting the newly opened store soon or boasting about what you bought at the store opening today. LOL!Dubbed as the largest one in South East Asia, the Uniqlo store in Fahrenheit 88 KL which is just beside StarHill Gallery and opposite Pavilion (oh gosh, 2 of my favourite malls!) has just opened its doors to the crowd today, 4th of November, at 11am.
There were many stuffs that had promotional prices like some jackets at RM49.90 (initially RM79.90), jeans at RM49.90 (initially RM99.90) and graphic tees at RM29.90 (initially RM59.90). So how can one resist these deals??!!!
Sadly for me, my school ended at 4pm. Lol.
5pm, my heart melt.
I arrived at Fahrenheit 88 at 6.15pm to find out A LOT of people outside the store to find out that actually there was a LONG queue. So yeah, I went ALL the way at the back of the line to queue up to get into the store.
I waited a good long 35 minutes.
So yeah, I gotta say the store inside is HUGE! There are 3 floors. The first floor is basically a mixture of men and women's clothings. And it happened that all the promotional items were there, so yeah, clothes were flying everywhere!
The 2nd floor is all women's stuff and the 3rd is all men's stuff. I gotta say I'm very pleased to know that Uniqlo have really interesting blazers, because I love blazers! There were A LOT of jackets too, interesting ones with solid colour and prints. The price is very reasonable too.
What I like about the store that sets people in the mood is that, it is VERY brightly litted up. The bright white lights everywhere makes people feel up-lifted and high-spirited lol.
The sales assistants, had nothing more than a tshirt and plain pants/jeans on but yet they were MUCH more friendly than sales assistants in brands like Zara. Zara sales assistants just don't give a damn. A sales assistant in Uniqlo greeted me and asked me how she may help me. Then she helped me decide what is my suitable jacket size, despite there were A LOT of people in the store too. And I noticed the cashiers, they ALWAYS have a HUGE smile on their face, ever ready to greet people sincerely. 2 thumbs up for the wonderful sales assistants!
So after an hour of walking through, I finally made my way out of the store and made my way to Pavilion.
I was actually very tired because usually around this time would be my afternoon nap time.
So yeah I was basically very tired and I hope the sales assistant didn't think that I was angry at them. Lol.
Still, after all the long shopping trip today, the best part was still...
So yeah, I would say I had a wonderful experience to the store today. Their clothes were really made with good quality materials. And with such a reasonable price, I think Uniqlo would be one of the most sought-after brands in Malaysia, producing clothes for all kinds of people, from the graphic tees for teenagers, to elegant blazers for the business class people.
I just wanna ask you readers one thing...
Do you think that I would queue up 35 minutes just to go into the store, parade around the store for 1 hour like a mad man and come home empty handed?
Have a great weekend, and to all those who are celebrating tomorrow...
Have a Very Happy Deepavali!!! =D
