Had a nice dinner, drank 2 glasses of champagne, and cleaned out A LOT of stuffs which includes my room, my phone inbox and email inbox. Tired. Tomorrow another big day.

This, is the most expensive book in the world, John James Audubon's edition of Birds of America. It consists of 1,000 life-sized illustrations of nearly 500 breeds. This rare early 19th-century measures at 3 ft by 2 ft and was expected to sell between GBP 4 million and GBP 6 million. But guess what? It was sold at GBP 7.3 million (US$11.5 million) to a bidder on the telephone. Wow. Before this, it was sold off at US$8.8 million (GBP 5.7 million). Looks very interesting to read.
